To celebrate Lori’s 50th birthday, Rand chose a special gift for his lady: a romantic trip in the City of Love! The couple wanted to bring home a unique souvenir from France: a collection of casual and old school photos, mostly in black & white, captured along the Seine river and Ile de la Cité. The perfect tour for a Paris vintage photo session!
We started our photo session in front of Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral. The majestic monument couldn’t be more romantic and will always remain a classic. The lovers had chosen vintage style outfits for the occasion.

Then we strolled around Ile de la Cité, completely empty at dawn.

We then reached the Seine river banks, very quiet as well.

Our morning walk ended on Pont des Arts, aka the love locks bridge, which is now bare of all the locks.

It was a lot of fun to participate in this vintage photo session in Paris! Now, off to breakfast before a full day of exploring beautiful the city of Love and all its wonders!
I’m always up for original and unique photo sessions, so tell me about your own dream project here 🙂

Oui, Oui, Marie. Magnifique!
Whispering to my bride that I was taking her to breakfast, on Saturday, in Paris. Marie met us before sunrise and immediately set us at ease; then shared our walk to petit déjeuner à Paris. Marie captured us in the square, along the streets, crossing the bridge, strolling the banks of the Seine, in masterful composition. She’s a professional behind the lens and artfully sees the result that captures the emotion of l’art de vivre. We’ll always have Paris!
Reconnaissant pour toujours.
