To celebrate her 70th birthday, Penelope had a lovely idea: inviting her husband, brother, children and grandchildren to join her for a Provence retreat! The family chose to settle at Domaine de Manville, a former farming estate now turned into a luxury hotel. And it was the perfect location for their charming stay and a family photo session in Provence.
Domaine de Manville couldn’t be more suited for a family photo session in Provence. The resort is located in the heart of Les-Baux-de-Provence, surrounded by olive groves and with a view of the Alpilles mountain range. We started with a big family shot, then did smaller groups and couples.
We definitely took advantage of the olive trees and the beautiful view! Everyone was dressed very nicely in white, lavender and blue shades. Those contrasted nicely with the surrounding greenery. I go over my tips on how to choose outfits for your photo session here.
We also used the massive metal sculpture at the entrace of the Domaine as a nice frame for a group photo.
Kai, Coco, Lulu and Addie, the four little girls, had fun being princesses for a day. Their matching dresses were just adorable!
It was lovely participating in Penelope’s milestone birthday. These photos will surely make a wonderful souvenir of this international family vacation in Provence…
