I met Cécile and Jean-Baptiste at another couple’s wedding! It’s always the nicest compliment when a couple I met at a wedding chooses me to become their own wedding photographer. I got along right away with Cécile, whose smile and happiness are contagious!
A few months later: the big day was there for them! It was scorching hot on that Saturday of Summer in Provence, but Jean-Baptiste was all smiles in his Louis Purple suit, Cécile’s Laurent Renucci bouquet in hand, impatient to discover his wife-to-be…
Cécile, looking stunning in her Pronovias dress found at I.Gilles Aix-en-Provence, got her hair done by Charline Eventshair, and was smiling wide too.
On their wedding day, the bride and groom met next to the Géménos city hall, right by the medical practice where they had met a few years before!
After the civil ceremony, the next stop was the Roquevaire church for the religious ceremony. The couple chose a very original song for their church entrance: The Circle of Life from the movie “The Lion King”!
The priest made jokes during the ceremony and friends of the couple sang live.
The newlyweds and their guests then headed to the Domaine de la Pommé in Trets, where Cécile and Jean-Baptiste invited everyone to celebrate their wedding.
The venue, which is ideally located between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, has 7 hectares of olive trees, offers on-site housing and the most exquisite effect with its swimming pool right next to the reception area!
The bride and groom chose Le Romarin Vert to cater for their wedding and l’Agence Tous Disques to keep their guests entertained. Two great choices!
As the sun was about to set, we took a few minutes to capture some photos of the new husband and wife in the intimacy of the olive orchard of le Domaine de la Pommé.
The atmosphere was so relaxed and joyful at Cécile and Jean-Baptiste’s wedding, it was a lot of fun to be a part of it!
The couple’s entrance to the party was as fun and guests from all ages quickly invaded the dancefloor.
The night went on, with a surprise video, some emotional speeches, tears of joy and hugs, followed by the first dance of the bride and groom.
The newlyweds chose the traditional croquembouche as their wedding cake, and after a quick bite they went back to the dancefloor as the party was just getting started!
It was a real pleasure to photograph this Provence wedding! Everybody was so cheerful and nice, in spite of the heat wave. The team at le Domaine de la Pommé took very good care of us and the vendors chosen by the bride and groom were truly the best to work with! Thank you so much and congratulations Cécile and JB!
